Techland, the developer behind zombie-titles such as Dying Light and Dead Island, reportedly has plans to release two unannounced games within the next few years.
The news was revealed at a recent Digital Dragons event in Poland after statements were made by Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka.
Marchewka confirmed that the games are currently unannounced titles that are scheduled to be released in the next 2-3 years and have a combined budget of nearly $80 million.
“In order to give the teams working on these projects creative independence, each project is being developed in a different place,” Marchewka said. “The first one is created by the Wroclaw-based studio, and the second one is being made by Techland [Warsaw]. Techland’s third studio, which is based in Vancouver, is providing technological support for both titles.”
Machewka did not reveal any hints at what either may title, but a sequel to Dying Light seems plausible.
