World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Warlords of Draenor, is no longer for sale. Instead, it will now be a part of the base game.
A Blizzard customer support representative confirmed the news on Reddit. “Separate Warlords copies should no longer be available from retailers, as the registration code for the expansion can no longer be redeemed through Battle.net.”
Those who have purchased the expansion but have not used the boost that comes with it should still be able to use the boost, the representative confirmed. The representative also encouraged anyone with an unregistered code to contact Blizzard support for assistance.
Warlords of Draenor was first released in late 2014. The expansion raised the game’s level cap from 90 to 100, and introduced eight new dungeons and two raids. A Mythic difficulty was also added for raids. All of these features are now available for everyone.
World of Warcraft’s next and sixth expansion, entitled Legion, will release on August 30th.
