If you wish to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, you will have to purchase a collector’s edition of Infinite Warfare.
Activision has stated that they have no plans to release the remastered game for individual purchase. “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is only available through the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” reads the Activision support page. “You must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.”
The Legacy, Digital Deluxe, and Legacy Pro versions of Infinite Warfare will go for $80, $100, and $120 respectively. The Legacy edition comes only with the remastered game. The Digital Deluxe also comes with the DLC Season Pass. The Legacy Pro will go even further by adding a SteelBook case, soundtrack, and additional digital items.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will release with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on November 4th. The games will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The remaster will include the original’s campaign mode and 10 multiplayer maps including “Crash,” “Backlot,” and “Crossfire.” You can check out the announcement trailer for Infinite Warfare here.
