The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine trailer mixes horror and delight
The ‘final quest’ for our beloved Geralt, Blood and Wine is the last DLC for The Witcher 3 and is only a week away. Showing even more of Toussaint, the new location being added in the expansion, the launch trailer gives players a sense of the beauties that await them, along with a handful of terrifying vampires.“For the last time become professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia and explore Toussaint, a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. Blood and Wine is a 30+ hour adventure full of dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit,” the description teases.

Boasted as roughly the size of any of The Witcher 3’s in game areas, Toussaint promises a rather different aesthetic from the war torn lands players have come to know. Releasing May 31 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the DLC is included with the game’s expansion pass, but will run gamers $20 to buy on its own.
Last week saw the release of another trailer for Blood and Wine, introducing players to the region of Toussaint. Will you be picking up The Witcher 3’s final expansion and stepping into Geralt’s boots one last time? Or is the thought of yet another massive area to explore a little too daunting? Let us know in the comments.
