Microsoft has done it again: the Xbox One has received a new dose of backwards compatible with multi-disc game.
Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, spokesperson for Microsoft, made a statement about the new feature earlier in the week. Hryb confirmed the new feature on Reddit just a few days ago.
“I can confirm that the [backward compatibility] team has done work to support multidisc scenarios,” he wrote. “Be sure to thank the engineers.”
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is the first multi-disc game to receive the backwards compatibility treatment, although others will most likely be trailing behind it. Good candidates would be Mass Effect 2 and The Witcher 2. Which games do you want to see backwards compatible next?
