Operations is a new feature to Battlefield multiplayer, they introduce a series of interconnected battles across multiple fronts. “Play a sequence of battles where your actions have consequences beyond a single match, as you try to conquer territory or push back your attackers.”
Behemoths are large player-controlled vehicles coming to the game. They include the Armored Train, Air Ship, and Battleship.
A beta was also announced at the conference that will be open to the public later this summer.
Battlefield 1 is scheduled to release on October 21, 2016 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game was officially revealed last month, showing off its World War 1 themed setting.
