Call of Duty: Black Ops III is adding a new challenge system to its multiplayer known as Contracts. Starting June 14th, players will be able to access Contracts through the game’s Black Market in the form of Daily, Weekly, Mercenary, and Special challenges. By completing challenges before contracts expire, players will earn varying rewards.
Finishing Daily Contracts give the player bonus Cryptokeys, the in-game currency. Weekly Contracts will earn you a larger amount of Cryptokeys.
Taking on a Mercenary Contract lets you play the new character Blackjack for an hour. In addition to brawling on the battlefield, Black Jack is the game’s Black Market Vendor and comes equipped with a unique set of abilities and personality. Playing Rougue allows him to steal the weapons of Specialists he kills once his meter is full. Choose Gambler and he’ll gain a random specialist ability with a full meter, which charges faster than the normal rate.
Also, Special Contracts give players a free guaranteed Weapon Bribe and 10x Rare Supply Drops once they win 75 matches.
Black Ops III’s Contract update will be available simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
In other Call of Duty news, the Call of Duty XP event made it’s return earlier this week.
