Microsoft had at least one weird announcement up their sleeve for E3, and that was the ability to design your own Xbox One controller.
Although, if I’m being honest, the idea isn’t that weird: it’s brilliant. The controllers start at $80 on Microsoft’s official website, where gamers can customize the colours of the thumbsticks, ABXY, view & menu buttons, and the back of the controller. You can also get laser etching done on the controller, with Microsoft’s demo video showing gamer tags put on the front.
You can choose to make them as matching or clashing as you want, with over 8 million combinations available according to Microsoft.
If you want to order a controller it’ll start at $80, and if you place an order before August they’ll begin shipping in September. Get ready Xbox One tournaments, you’re about to be more colourful then ever before.
