For Honor wants to be your Valentine next year.
The game made an appearance during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference today, revealing its release date of February 14, 2017. A new story trailer was released for the game, showing a worldwide natural disaster, causing people to barely cling on to survival. Apollyon, the game’s main antagonist and warlord, was also unveiled at the event.
Along with the announcement, Ubisoft Montreal, the game’s developers, showed off a lengthy mission from its Viking campaign, which can be viewed below.
The gameplay shows a group of Vikings storming a Samurai stronghold by climbing and using grappling hooks to siege the territory from their opposing faction. The demo also revealed a new hero character for the Samurais, the Oni.
Players can sign up for the alpha test now on For Honor’s official site. For Honor will available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
