The first DLC saw players take to the sky in the Sky Fortress expansion, but prepare to take the fight back to the ground in the Mech Land Assault DLC. Rico takes a trip to the island of Lacrima, only to find it is defended by powerful mechs. If you want to take the fight to these metallic nuances you’ll need to beat them at their own game.
There are two different mechs on offer and they can be taken anywhere in the game world. These mechs come equipped with their own arsenal of destructive and insane weaponry, such as the GRIP Gravity Guns that can be used to throw vehicles around, making the opportunities for wacky carnage almost endless. In order to steal a mech, you’ll need to disable it with the Bavarium Power Core rifle.
The Mech Land Assault DLC is the second part of Just Cause 3‘s Air, Land, and Sea Expansion Pass, with the final DLC, Bavarium Sea Heist, to launch later this year. While the second DLC is out now for Expansion Pass holders, non-season pass holders will have to wait until June 10th to get the DLC, priced at $11.99.
