Owners of EA Access are now able to access the trial version Mirror’s Edge Catalyst a day earlier than planned. Through the Xbox exclusive service, members are able to access new EA games a few days before the official release date.
The version of the game available on EA access right now is the trial version which contains the full 16 GB game, but will force you out of the game once your time runs out.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has reportedly built upon the first Mirror’s Edge with improvements to several aspects of gameplay. This includes more open ended levels to encourage organic exploration, improvements to the combat system such as the removing of useable weapons to focus on the parkour combat, and all around movement tweaks for smoother running.
For those who aren’t subscribed to EA Access, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 7th. To see what it’s all about, and to figure out just what makes Faith, the game’s protagonist, run so much, don’t miss the game’s launch trailer.
