A new Final Fantasy XIV campaign requires a trip to Amazon to unlock new items
A campaign event was recently held in Japan for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players in-game items for qualifying purchases from 7-Eleven stores. Square Enix has announced that the items will be available in North America, but instead through Amazon.Those who make a qualifying purchase of $19.99 or more on Amazon will receive a code that will unlock a number of exclusive in-game items in Final Fantasy XIV. The items that players can receive include an original Fat Chocobo mount, Maid and Butler attire, a Titan-themed Crag mask, an Ifrit-themed Inferno mask, and a set of 99 Magicked Prism wings (a consumable item).

The campaign event will run from June 14th through June 27th. Keep in mind that the offer is only available to those in North America. European players will likely receive a similar event in the future.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Patch 3.3, entitled “Revenge of the Horde,” released recently. The update introduces new story quests, two new dungeons, a new 24-player raid, new trials, and more.
