Phil Spencer advises against getting a Scorpio if you don’t have a 4K TV
Fans of Xbox were taken aback with the official announcement of project Scorpio, while it had been leaked prior to the conference it was still surprising to have it confirmed. Many will feel the need to upgrade immediately but Phil Spencer advises that if you don't have a 4K TV, then you're better off sticking with your Xbox One or to get the Xbox S instead.Phil told Eurogamer that if you don't have a 4K TV, "You should buy this box [The Xbox S], because Scorpio is not going to do anything for you. Scorpio is designed as a 4K console, and if you don't have a 4K TV, the benefit we've designed for, you're not going to see. Clearly, you can buy Scorpio, and if and when you decide you want to buy a 4K television to take advantage of the increased performance, obviously the console will be ready for you."
