Telltale is hoping to release all five episodes in the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series by the end of this year.
Job Stauffer, the Head of Creative Communications at Telltale, told GamesRadar to expect the first episode to release “soon.” The developer also intends to have “all five episodes out before the end of the year,” Stauffer says. He later clarified that there is “room for dates to shift” but the goal is to have most, if not all, the episodes this out this year. Assuming that the game releases in August, at the latest, fans might expect a schedule at the pace an episode a month.
Telltale describes the game as a “living, breathing comic book.” The first screenshots and star-studded cast for the game were revealed a few weeks ago. The game was also shown privately to guests at E3 earlier this month.
In other Batman related news, Batman Arkham VR was announced at E3, during Sony’s press conference, alongside a playable demo on the show floor. Arkham VR is slated to release sometime in October.
The first chapter of Batman: The Telltale Series aiming to debut this summer, it’ll be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and iOS and Android mobile devices.
