Want Skyward Sword in HD? Sure you do, well it may be a possibility
In an interview with IGN, Eiji Aonuma had been approached about a possibility for a HD remaster for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. To which the producer could only coyly mention 'Yeah it's definitely possible'. Under his reign as producer for the series, Aonuma had been able to remaster several of the console release Zelda games including Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. The precedence is there and while it does have some possibility, Aonuma also mentioned that he feels that the decision to work on it would be a bit weird, possibly in terms of timing with the release of Breath of the Wild for Wii U and NX. "Putting out an HD version of Skyward Sword and tossing that into the mix might be a little weird" stated Aonuma, "It’s always a possibility, so I really don’t know."

So we can only infer that while the thought is there and its possibility will always exist, for now, the game won’t be in HD. We will have to just look forward to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in March 2017.
