Continuing EA’s Road to Battlefield 1 campaign, Battlefield Hardline’s Criminal Activity expansion is free for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. For those on the fence, don’t wait too long, the deal started on July 26th and runs til August 2nd.
Criminal Activity introduces four new maps: Backwoods, Code Blue, The Beat, and Black Friday.It also includes the Bounty Hunter game mode, which pits teams against each other to collect bounty coins. Six masks come with the DLC, four cop helmets or two criminal masks (rabbit and gorilla). Each is equipped with a different XP boost fitting to your play style. In addition, the expansion has two new vehicles, 12 assignments, and eight new achievements/trophies.
Like the other free DLC events, Criminal Activity comes with a community mission, Vehicle Kills. If players collectively score four million kills from vehicles in multiplayer they earn $100.000 in-game cash.
Hardline was fist released March of 2015 and the Criminal Activity DLC was released June of that year.
The next installment in the franchise, Battlefield 1, is set to release on October 21, 2016 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Stay tune for more updates leading up to the game’s release and our reports on free content available in the future.
