One mode of Crowd Play is an opinion poll, the other a vote. The first mode will show what choices the viewers have made as percentage polls. The player has final say, and the viewers can give thumbs up or down in response. The second mode has the most popular choice get selected, crowdsourcing the gameplay. Crowd Play statistics will join the usual statistics of how many people chose what options at the end of each episode.
This feature is expected to make Telltale games, already popular with “let’s play-ers”, an even more interesting experience in real time. Batman: The Telltale Series drops is first episode August 2nd for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
