During this year’s Anime Expo convention, Bandai Namco announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch on October 25th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and October 28th for PC.
Along with the reveal of a new trailer, it was announced that Xenoverse 2 will feature contributions made by Grammy-nominated DJ Steve Aoki. The game will include remixes of popular Dragon Ball Z tracks, “Cha-La Head-Cha-La,” and “We Gotta Power,” produced by the DJ. Aoki will also appear in the actual game as a non-playable-character that players will be able to interact with in the game’s hub city of Conton.
“Having grown up with Dragon Ball, I jumped at the chance to contribute my talents and leave my personal impact on the series.” said Aoki.
“Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is shaping up to be the biggest and best Dragon Ball video game experience to date,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at Bandai Namco of America. “Both the contribution of DJ Steve Aoki’s musical talents and his in-game likeness will add a fun new dimension to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 experience that fans will appreciate.”
According to Bandai Namco’s official website, the games boasts a new hub city more than 7X the size of the original game and can hold up 300 players online at the same time.
