Minecraft Oculus Rift support on the way
Minecraft has been a part of a variety of gamer's portfolios and hearts for many years now. That being said, there have been a massive amount of updates and versions throughout that time. Included is the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft, which is now celebrating its one year anniversary. How will Mojang shine light on this momentous milestone? How about helping more players dive head first into their own worlds with some high end virtual reality.Jesse Merriam, the Executive Producer for Minecraft, put up a post on Xbox Wire, discussing the one year anniversary and how they plan to celebrate. "In the next few weeks, we are adding Oculus Rift support to the Windows 10 Edition Beta in a free update as our thank-you for your continued support over the past year," he stated. "If you own Windows 10 Edition and an Oculus Rift, you can jump right in and experience Minecraft in a whole new way."

Of course, Minecraft already has virtual reality support with the Gear VR. With the Oculus Rift update, however, there is promise of improvement and enhanced features, such as external camera tracking. For those with all the right equipment, it is now just a matter of being patient.
