A product, going by the name Metal Gear Solid: V Definitive EX appeared on Amazon earlier this week. Since then it has been taken down form the site, with very little information being announced on it’s existence. The listing was discover by a Reddit user, TheMotion.
Before the listing was taken down, it included mostly placeholder information, such as a release date of December 31, 2016. As of now, the only information we have to go on is the name of this product.
Even though this title is a mystery, we do know that fans will be able to enjoy the art of Metal Gear this year.
Dark Horse has announced that they will be releasing an art book titled, The Art of Metal Gear Solid V, later this year. With more than 180 pages, this title will include never before seen art from the series and will be available at local retail book stores. The company also plans to release a limited edition version that will be packaged in a “tactical slipcase”. This packaging will feature art from illustrator Ashley Wood. Wood’s art was featured in the comic book adaptations of the first two Metal Gear games.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC last year.
