It looks as though the original Darksiders will be coming to current generation consoles. Nordic Games has announced a new version of the game titled, Darksiders Warmaster Edition. This remastered version of the game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the Wii U.
The game is expected to run in native 1080p resolution, and will feature improvements such as the doubling of all texture resolutions, better shadow rendering, rendering improvements, as well as new post processing effects. The game will also run at 6o FPS on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while the Wii U version will run at 30FPS.
Fans looking to grab the game on PC will also be excited to here that this edition will bring a slew of changes to further enhance the experience. The game will offer 4K support as well as other additional video options.
The Darksiders Warmaster Edition will be developed by KAIKO, the company who was responsible for the Xbox One version of Darksiders 2.
Nordic Games has not announced a release date for the game, but according to the company’s website, we can expect them to make the announcement soon.
The game was originally released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010.
