When Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was released in 2014, the PlayStation 4 version of the game ran at 1080p and 60 frames per second, while its Xbox One counterpart ran at 30 frames per second. Developer Crystal Dynamics is working with the same studio for Rise’s PS4 version as it did for the definitive version of Tomb Raider.
“Crystal Dynamics is working with long-time partner Nixxes Software on the development of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration,” Square Enix said.
Rise of the Tomb Raider ran at 1080p and 30 frames per second when it was released on Xbox One in 2015.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to PS4 on October 11 as a 20 Year Celebration edition, featuring all of the game’s existing DLC, as well as a large amount of new content, including new DLC packs to explore Croft Manor, an endurance online co-op mode, and an exclusive PSVR mission.
