Rocket League to get surprising update
Rocket League may be an independent game, but it has grown to be something to compete with the top AAA titles. It even won Best Sports/Racing Game and more at the official Game Awards 2015. As Psyonix, the developer of Rocket League, have continued to support this game, it has seen new features, maps, cars, and more. Apparently they are far from done with their support. What exactly will the future bring fans?Psyonix recently spoke with IGN about how they plan to move forward with the lifespan of Rocket League. "From our vantage point, people are playing the game because they like it how it is, so we don't want to get in the way of playing the game in the way that they've fallen in love with it - but we also don't want them to think that there aren't other options for them," said Vice President Jeremy Dunham. ""We've got something brewing that a lot of people have been asking for in different forms but is also very surprising. It's going to be interesting, but it's going to be cool too."

He also mentioned that more news on this would come closer to the Championship Series, which is August 6th and 7th. Not too far away, but just enough to have out heads spinning about the news to come. Rocket League is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
