PopCap Games has released another major update for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, entitled Trouble in Zombopolis: Part Two.
The update introduces several new features, including one of the most requested features from the first game: Community Challenges. Now, players will be able to see their progress towards these challenges in real-time through the Progress-o-meter, which will be located outside the Town Hall. Here players will be able to see if they qualify for the rewards and is where they will open the community chest once the challenge goal is completed.
Trouble in Zombopolis: Part Two also includes new activities in the Backyard Battleground, namely the Delivery Time Challenges. These timed events will challenge a player’s speed as well as their problem solving ability as they try to determine the fastest way to deliver Chomper Pizza and Zomburgers. There are also a number of improvements and character balances being done in the update. You can read the massive list of patch notes here.
“Thanks again to all of our amazing fans playing Garden Warfare 2, we hope you enjoy playing these new features as much as we’ve enjoyed making them!” creative director Justin Wiebe states.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is available now. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
