Meeting a successful release, the team at Fatshark Games announced on their blog that their hit Warhammer End Times: Vermintide will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 4th, 2016. The 4-player co-op survival action game will also have retail copies for consoles courtesy to Nordic Games who will be working with the team.
All content available for the PC version will be available for the console release as well. This includes the various DLC that have already been released such as the Sigmar’s Blessing and Drachenfels DLC.
Apart from that, the console versions of the game will be the exact same as the PC version. From the 5 available characters, the amount of loot and the countless droves of Skaven hordes, everything will be untouched and ready to play for a new audience.
I reviewed Warhammer End Times: Vermintide late last year when it was released, it’s one of the games I still play sporadically to this day. The game scratches the itch for a new Left 4 Dead and is still an enjoyable game to play with friends. More content is to be released for the PC version over time. It hasn’t been made clear whether new content will be available for the console version in the future.
