Another game has joined the long list of titles available to play via Xbox One backwards compatibility. This time around, it is Xbox 360 title, Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos.
The title was revealed to be releasing today on Twitter by Major Nelson.
Interpol was originally released in January 2009 on Xbox Live Arcade and was developed by TikGames.
“A mysterious and dangerous criminal believed to have been in hiding for over a decade, has suddenly re-surfaced. The target of your mission is Dr. Vladimir Chaosky, aka Dr. Chaos. Agencies have been trying to track him down since the Cold War, and now, more than ever, you must bring him to justice. Your mission is to apprehend the evil doctor through global investigative work. Your expertise in tracking fugitives and analyzing crime scenes will help you succeed,” the game’s description reads.
Upon release, the game was almost unanimously panned by critics, many citing that it had poor production value and overall was not suited for console. The game was available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Mac.
So while Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos was probably not your favorite 360 game, it is one of many more that have been added to make the Xbox One backwards compatibility library pretty robust, including last week’s massive release of Red Dead Redemption.
