One advantage the Xbox One has had over the PS4 has been its backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 titles. Ever since its announcement a little over a year ago, Xbox One owners have been hearing constantly about new games being added to the ever-growing list of backwards compatible titles.
This week, four new titles were added to this list. Announced by Larry Hryb, better known to most as Microsoft’s Xbox Division Spokesman”Major Nelson,” announced that three Microsoft Studios arcade titles and one Focus Home Interactive title have become backwards compatible: Bloodforge, Go! Go! Break Steady, Gripshift, and Mars: War Logs.
The four titles are now part of the over 200 titles that have become backwards compatible since its announcement during last year’s E3. Still, Mass Effect 2 and The Orange Box isn’t backwards compatible yet, so we’re still waiting to jump for joy on that end. But Microsoft has been able to constantly add a stream of great classics from the last generation almost to the tune of one game a day, which has really helped the Xbox One’s reputation this generation.
