If the base game of Battlefield 1 is not enough for you, EA is offering a $50 premium season pass for its World War 1 shooter.
Those who purchase the premium pass will get two-week early access to Battlefield 1’s new multiplayer maps, armies and more in four themed digital expansion packs, which will kick off with the “They Shall Not Pass” expansion coming in March 2017. An additional expansion will also include the Russian Empire.
“Get ready for new Operations and game modes, new Elite classes, weapons, vehicles and more,” its description reads. “The Battlefield™ 1 Premium Pass includes 16 new multiplayer maps, 20 new weapons, 14 unique dog tags and 14 Battlefield™ 1 Battlepacks containing stand-out weapon skins. Each Battlepack is delivered monthly, starting November 2016.”
Battlefield will release later this year on October 21. An open beta for the game will be available to all players on August 31, though those who signed up for Battlefield Insider prior to August 21 will receive an early access code to begin a day early on August 30.
Looking for an excuse to spend even more money on Battlefield 1? There is a collector’s version of the game selling on Amazon that includes a statue and extras, but doesn’t include any physical or digital copy of the game.
