The mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us is getting some timely new characters thanks to the recent release of DC’s Suicide Squad.
In what the developer calls the biggest update the game has seen in over a year, famous villains from Suicide Squad will not only bring new characters to the game, but also new skins, in-game rewards, and events to the mobile version, as well as updated challenge, multiplayer and survivor modes. Players can now earn Suicide Squad themed rewards, including new companion cards, from these modes.
For the first time, Deadshot, portrayed by actor Will Smith in the film and who is often seen as the leader of the Suicide Squad in the comics, will join the game for the first time. While characters Harley Quinn and The Joker already appear in the game, they will both be getting new skins for the characters that are identical to how they appear in the new movie.
All of the new content can be accessed by earning it through in-game rewards, received from random draws from purchased booster packs, or special early access bundles that can be purchased for $19.99.
The new Suicide Squad content is available now for Injustice: Gods Among Us on iOS and Android.
