Details for BlazBlue: Central Fiction’s Limited Edition have been released, as well as information on a brand new playable character.
BlazBlue: Central Fiction’s Limited Edition will come with a copy of the game and a 100-page art book showing off the history of the series. The set also comes with a Mini Noel Vermillion Nendoroid figure and the BlazBlue Song Interlude III Soundtrack that features ten tracks from the game. Gamers will be able to pick up the Limited Edition for $90.
The new playable character in Central Fiction is Es, the main character of Xblaze – Code: Embryo, the Visual Novel set 150 years before the events of the main series’ story line. She seems simple at first, but she has an added ability to enhance her special moves. This means that her play style can be changed as the fight continues, giving her added flexibility. Es will be free on launch day, and will remain free for the first two weeks after Central Fiction releases. After those two weeks, Es will be available to purchase as DLC.
It has been announced that BlazBlue: Central Fiction will not include an English dub for the first time in the series. Aksys Games have clarified that they do not plan to release an English dub at all. However, a group of fans have started a petition to show support for a dub, and hope to convince Aksys to produce an English voice track.
BlazBlue: Central Fiction will release this winter for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
