Developer Nippon Ichi Software has announced that Disgaea 2 will be coming to PC via Steam on January 30, 2017.
The game’s PC announcement follows the port of the first entry in the series, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, released earlier this year.
The game originally launched in 2006 for the PlayStation 2 as Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories. It was later ported to PSP as Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, which added content such as characters, monsters, and spells. Disgaea 2 PC will come with everything from both versions.
Check out the PC announcement trailer below:
“Darkness is back,” the Steam description reads. “Overlord Zenon has cursed the land, and now, Veldime is transforming into a nasty Netherworld. Memories are sterilized, bodies demonized, the world is falling into chaos. The only one unaffected is a young man, Adell. He stands up to fight the curse, but things never go as planned. The haughty daughter of Zenon, a filthy little frog, lovable demon siblings and a washed-up rock star!? No one can ever predict what goes on in the world of Disgaea. And of course, other Overlords refuse to sit still watching… ”
Disgaea 2 PC will also be available on Mac and Steam machines. The PC port includes updated UI, keyboard and mouse support, and new keyboard shortcuts.
