An explanation of Titanfall 2’s Networks system
The Titanfall 2 multiplayer technical test is going both this weekend and the next. During the weekend, players should learn about the ambiguous Networks social system. The Networks social system is exclusive to Titanfall 2, and works similar to a friends list that allows players to team up with different groups. Groups can be made up of both friends and strangers, and can be labeled to designate that a particular network was made for players that stick to a certain play-style, players seeking highly competitive teammates, or many other player demographics.

Players can be a part of more than one network at a time, and each network can support several dozen players. The system is meant to facilitate quick and seamless matchmaking with other players, and is meant to keep the multiplayer community together.
The Titanfall 2 multiplayer technical test is going on now, and will span two weekends, both this one and the next. The test will come to consoles only, and will feature two of the newest Titans, Ion and Scorch. The first weekend will feature two modes (Bounty Hunt and Pilots vs. Pilots), as well as two maps (Boomtown and Homestead). The second weekend will add a third mode (Amped Hardpoint) as well as a third map (Forward Base Kodai). The first weekend’s level cap will be set at 10, while the second weekend will raise that cap up to 15.
Titanfall 2 will release on October 28th. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
