Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for FIFA 17, showing in-game footage of the upcoming soccer title.
The FIFA 17 trailer shows off the Frostbite engine that the title will be utilizing, The footage captured is in-game, and shows players what they can expect when the game releases in September.
EA also gave details on the game’s Ultimate Team mode. FIFA 17 will give gamers two ways to play the mode: Squad Building Challenges and FUT Champions. Squad Building Challenges lets gamers test their management skills and earn in-game rewards by fulfilling squad requirements with their players from their Club. Once requirements are met, fans can exchange squads in each challenge to redeem rewards.
FUT Champions will be a new way for gamers to compete in daily knockout tournaments for in-game rewards and the chance to play in the Weekend League. Once players reach the Weekend League, they will compete to rank up for rewards. Each performance counts, as combined wins help players rank up the Monthly Leaderboard for the chance to win the biggest rewards in FUT. Those in the top spots on the Leaderboard could have the opportunity to compete in the EA Sports FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship Series, which gives players the chance to compete at the highest level and win their share of the nearly $1.3 million prize pool.
