Called Splatoon Summer Test Fire 2016, the free demo event will allow European players to jump into Splatoon from August 18 to September 1, the company announced in a press release.
The publisher also revealed a host of new games for the Nintendo Selects label. Some of the Wii U’s most popular games, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, and Mario Party 10 are all joining the Selects line-up in Europe. This means they will be rereleased for a reduced price. These, along with the two indie titles FAST Racing NEO and SteamWorld Collection, will release on September 30. The two indie games are the first eShop titles added to Nintendo Selects.
And finally, for those looking forward to Paper Mario: Color Splash, or just anyone that enjoys adorable YouTube videos, Nintendo has released the first episode of a new series called Rescue V. Following a group of toads tired of Mario getting all the credit for the work they do saving the day, the video includes the paper-aesthetic of Paper Mario.
