Nintendo NX could showcase Mario and Zelda early
Nintendo has not had the most lucrative couple of years since the launch of the Wii U. Looking ahead to the launch of the mysterious NX, the gaming titan is hoping to gain some footing in the industry once again. Since this console was announced, there have been a number of rumors flying around. Now another one has hit the web, one that most of us would be very happy to see come true.A reliable close source to Nintendo has told MCV that the NX will see Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon on the console within the first 6 months of its lifespan. The Zelda title is most like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which was already announced to appear on the NX. Since the Wii U did not start off with such a lineup, the console definitely suffered with its beginning sales. This is what it appears Nintendo is trying to avoid.

This same source also stated that the recent rumors of the the NX being a handheld that can plug into your home TV are “100 percent accurate.” What could possibly be even more important is the fact that this hybrid console is seeing more 3rd party support from the likes of Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Activision, Warner Bros, and possibly more down the line.
