Only one man will be allowed to make an Elder Scrolls movie
There are numerous amounts of video game series that deserve a spot on the big picture. With a resurgence of movies based on video game franchises, one has been gravely omitted. The Elder Scrolls is one of the biggest game series in the last decade and it almost seems too good of an opportunity not to try out. Right? Unfortunately, Vice President of PR for Bethesda Softworks, Peter Hines has stated in an interview with Finder, that the company does not currently want this for the series- except for one exception:"I think if Peter Jackson turned up at Todd Howard’s office and said, ‘I want to do Elder Scrolls,’ well that would be a pretty serious conversation you would have to listen to,”

While it is a fun little tongue-in-cheek remark, the notion of a movie directed by Peter Jackson is sure to be make any fan weak at the knees. The potential for some seriously incredible cinematography and fantastic writing could very well be the hit the world needs.
Personally, I’m much more invested in the Fallout series making an appearance on the big screen. That said, both franchises would make for an incredibly interesting flick to watch. Whether they’ll be done justice or not is up in the air.
