Ubisoft has announced that a remastered version of Rocksmith 2014 will be release this fall on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The remastered edition can be purchased digitally for newcomers and it will be available for those that already own the game as a free downloadable patch on all platforms.
The remastered edition will include a better customizable learning curve, expanded practice tools, stat tracking, improved menus and more.
It has 50 tracks, with a library of over 800 additional songs available for purchase. Players that purchase the game will also receive six free bonus downloadable songs. For those who already own the game, the songs can be purchased separately.
The six songs are listed below:
- Bob Marley & The Wailers – “Three Little Birds”
- Elvis Presley – “Suspicious Minds”
- FUN – “Some Nights”
- Jackson 5 – “I Want You Back”
- Outkast – “Hey Ya!”
- Train – “Drops of Jupiter”
“We are very proud of the success Rocksmith has had in teaching nearly four million people how to play the guitar and bass,” said Nao Higo, Executive Producer, Ubisoft San Francisco.
An announcement trailer for the game was also released that shows the progress players gain in learning the guitar in 60 days by playing Rocksmith.
Rocksmith 2014 Edition – Remastered will release on October 4, 2016.
