If you’ve been on the fence about trying The Witcher 3 since its release last year, now is the time to take the leap as a new Game of the Year Edition is coming later this month.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will release on August 30 and will contain the main game as well as its two expansions, both of which add between 20 and 30 additional hours of content each. Additionally, all of the free DLC content released by developer CD Projekt Red after the game’s launch last May will also be included.
” You will track down the child of prophecy across a war-torn world in the original Wild Hunt, face off against a seemingly immortal bandit leader in Hearts of Stone, and, in Blood & Wine, travel to the beautiful land of Toussaint only to discover the not-so-pretty secret it hides,” the game’s director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz wrote. “Put together, it’s 150 hours of open-world adventure full of action, exploration, difficult choices, and brutal consequences that will shape the world and hundreds of characters within it.”
More than a year since its original release, The Witcher 3 contains numerous updates after fan feedback, including an improved user interface, a new inventory grouping system, and a more detailed and useful map.
