Microsoft fans owners have been waiting a long time for this. The Xbox Summer update is here. While most fans are glowing in the fact that they will finally have the option for background music, there are a lot more features to be excited about from this update. Everything rolling out from the Summer update is listed out, so let’s take a look at what’s in store.
- Background Music – Finally players will be able to listen to their favorite tunes while playing gaming away.
- Cortana on Xbox One – Cortana is now on Microsoft’s latest console, and not just in a Halo game. With her voice commands, you can control the whole device. She even works with a headset or a Kinect. She is your “personal digital assistant for gaming.”
- Improved Game Collection – The Game Collection interface has been improved for easy management. You can sort the titles in numerous ways to easily find what you are looking for.
- Language Region Independence – Now, wherever your location, you can have control of your language on the device.
- Xbox and Windows Store convergence – The Windows store is now combined with the usual store on the console, becoming one entity for convenience and simple interface.
- Facebook Friend Finder – You can now connect your Facebook account to your Live account and find friends through the console.
- Improved sharing on Xbox One – Screenshots, clips, and more are now easier to share with your friends.
