The latest addition to the growing list of confirmed PS4 Pro embracing games, Elder Scrolls Online has put out a trailer showcasing just how great Tamriel can look in 4K.
Though you will need a 4K monitor to appreciate the trailer fully, the graphics are impressive even in standard HD. “The Elder Scrolls Online will be one of the first games to support the new Sony PlayStation 4 Pro,” Zenimax writes in an announcement.
“When the PS4 Pro launches on November 10, you’ll be able to play ESO immediately in native 4K resolution! If you play ESO on PlayStation 4 Pro with a 1080p HD television, you will experience increased graphical fidelity; if you use a 4K monitor, the game will automatically run in 4K.”
The new trailer comes just as Zenimax releases Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition. Releasing this past week, the new edition includes the base game, along with all four of the DLC packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood.
PS4 Pro launches November 10 for $399. For those not interested in 4K gaming, but looking to pick up a less expensive console, the PS4 Slim launches September 15 for $299. During the Sony event this week, Mass Effect: Andromeda received a similar 4K trailer.
