First batch of custom Xbox One controllers have been shipped
Microsoft has announced that the first batch of custom Xbox One controllers created with the Xbox Design Lab are currently being shipped to consumers.Xbox Design Lab is an online customization program that allows fans to design their very own Xbox Wireless Controller with more than eight million different color combinations to choose from. Individuals can customize the color or design of the controller's body, d-pad, analog sticks, bumpers, triggers and buttons. A custom 16-character message can also be engraved on the controller.

“Fans who already placed their orders can expect to receive their personalized controllers in early September. For all other orders, fans can expect to receive their controllers in just 14 business days,” said Navin Kumar, Senior Product Marketing Manager of Xbox Accessories in a blog post on Xbox Wire.
Xbox Design Lab was announced at this year’s E3 during Microsoft’s press conference and started taking orders on June 13. The service is currently available only in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Microsoft plans to expand the Design lab market to other regions in 2017.
