Microsoft has announced the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass. This season pass will include the first two expansions for the game, with first being released sometime this holiday session. The Forza Horizon 3 Expansion pass is available for $34.99.
This announcement comes alongside the release of the Forza Horizon 3: Ultimate Edition. This edition of the game allows gamers to play the game days before the scheduled release on September 27th. Along with early access, the Ultimate Edition will include two addition car packs, the Horizon 3 Car Pass, and VIP membership. This version of the game is currently available on the Microsoft store for $99.99. For gamers who own the Ultimate Edition, the Expansion Pass will be available at a discounted price of $10.
Forza Horizon 3 will also be the first Xbox One game to take advantage of the Xbox One S’s High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature. This feature will increase the contrast and color ratio of the game, which will allow for more detailed environments and greater fidelity.
For gamers who are still on the fence about getting the game, a demo of Forza Horizon 3 is currently available on the Xbox Live store. The game is set to release on Xbox One and Windows 10 September 27th.
