Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans, rejoice; the Modern Warfare Remaster will contain all 16 maps from the original release. …Sort of.
Previously, it was said that only 10 of the original 16 maps would come with the Remaster, and this is true: At launch, the game will come with 10 of Modern Warfare’s most popular maps. However, it has just been announced that by December, the remaining 6 maps will be released for free.
All 16 Modern Warfare MP maps are coming to all #MWRemastered owners. That’s 10 #MWRemastered maps at launch and 6 maps coming in December.

The Remaster is still only available to those who purchase Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and even then, only those who buy the Legacy, Digital Deluxe, or Legacy Pro bundles. The most inexpensive option for getting the Remaster is $80, and fans should keep in mind that the game isn’t on disc, it’s a full game download, so make sure you have the room on your system (and internet connection) before committing.
If this all still sounds good to you, also keep in mind that those who preorder on the PS4 will be able to play the Remaster’s campaign a full 30 days before the PC or Xbox One.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will release in full November 4th.
