Square Enix has released a new video showing off Final Fantasy XV’s various open-world environments that Noctis and his crew will encounter.
Eos, “the world outside the wall”, is described by a voice over of Noctis as “wild, weird and wondrous.” Noctis is the crown prince of Lucis, who hasn’t seen much of the outside world in his youth.
The video reveals many locations like large valleys, open plains and tropical beaches. In addition to the nature-themed areas, there are seaside towns, advanced cites and industrial compounds.

The trailer was first shown at the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event back in March. It is the third part of the World of Wonder video series for the game. This version of the trailer was shown during PAX West to fans that experienced riding the chocobo-themed Uber cars during the event.
In other FFXV-related news, the game was recently delayed from its initial September release to two months later. Director, Hajime Tabata, explained the reasons for the delay were to further polish the game. Also, it was revealed that the game will have a more linear second half compared to a vast open world at the start of the adventure.
Final Fantasy XV will be released on November 29, 2016 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
