Blizzard has released the patch notes for Overwatch’s latest Public Test Realm update that includes changes to Ana, Widowmaker and Junkrat.
Ana is getting a small nerf, while Widowmaker and Junkrat are getting a slight buff. The following are specific changes made to the characters in the new update.
Ana
- Nano Boost
- Ultimate cost has been increased by 20%
- Biotic Grenade
- Radius has been increased from 3 to 4 meters
Widowmaker
- Widow’s Kiss
- Scoping-in animation time has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.3 seconds
Junkrat
- RIP-Tire
- Ability now activates more quickly
“So far, we haven’t seen any indication that Ana is too strong overall, but her ultimate charges a little too fast, especially considering the impact it can have on a match. Also, her Biotic Grenades are getting a small boost to help her hit multiple targets,” Blizzard explained.
The rest of the update includes changes aspects of the user interface including improvements to the camera movement in spectator mode. In addition, certain commendations have been changed to appear less frequently or more frequently. The full patch notes can be seen on Overwatch’s official blog post, here.
The PTR is only accessible to PC players. Overwatch is currently available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
