Last month Minecraft came to the Oculus Rift. Features on the Rift version of the game include an external camera tracker, improved visuals, increased render distance, and the ability to use mouse and keyboard. In the statement made by one of the game’s developers, Mike McGrath, the team had been working on Oculus Rift compatibility since last fall. He hopes that “For new and experienced players, we hope the VR experience in Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta will illuminate how powerful, evocative and utterly immersive VR can be.” In order to play the Oculus Rift version of the game, players will need Windows 10.
