Star Wars Battlefront gets Death Star DLC
Star Wars Battlefront has just released it's third, and perhaps most iconic, 5-map and many-featured DLC pack: Death Star. This DLC is appropriately large, considering it's not one of the free DLC updates, and features the TL-50 Heavy Repeater, a heavy blaster with a secondary grenadier fire; the K-16 Bryar Pistol, with a secondary charge shot; the Laser Trip Mine star card, which also scrambles radar; the Medical Droid, a stationary healer / cooldown reducer; Luke Skywalker's X-Wing; Darth Vader's TIE Fighter; and new heroes Chewbacca and reptilian bounty hunter Bossk. Most impressively, of course, are the new maps: Command Sector, Death Star Surface, Defense Sector, Imperial Blockade, and Power Sector. Blast (Team Deathmatch) uses Death Star interior Sectors, Fighter Squadron uses Imperial Blockade and Death Star Surface, and the new mode Battle Station has you fly through the Imperial Blockade, fight through the interior, and end with the Death Star Surface-- a recreation of Luke's famous Trench Run.

For the next two weeks, the only way to get the DLC is as part of the imposingly priced $50 Season Pass. After two weeks, it will be sold as stand-alone DLC. Star Wars Battlefront and its Death Star DLC are available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
