It has been announced that the first batch of custom Xbox One custom controllers created with the Xbox Design Lab are being shipped out to customers. Senior Product Marketing Manager of Xbox Accessories Navin Kumar has stated that those who have already placed their orders can expect to receive their customized controllers in early September. All other orders can expect to receive their controllers within 14 business days.
The next big Xbox One update has begun rolling out to Previews members. The update will include the Clubs and Looking For Group functions, as well as a new look for the Gamerscore Leaderboard. The Clubs feature will allow gamers to create communities based around common interests, and will allow players to create parties, play games, share content, and communicate. The Looking For Group function will allow gamers to find others to play with, such as others looking to do the same quest or unlock the same Achievement. The Gamerscore Leaderboard will receive a new look, and will now reset at the beginning of the month instead of every 30 days.
