8 new Pokemon have been announced for Pokemon Sun and Moon
A new trailer has dropped for Pokemon Sun and Moon, showing off eight new Pokemon as well as two new characters.Out of the eight revealed Pokemon, six are evolutions, while the other two are the Alolan forms of previous Pokemon. Silvally is a Normal-type Pokemon that evolves from Type: Null, and changes its type when it is holding exclusive items. It can learn the exclusive move Multi-Attack, which also changes its typing depending on the item that is being held. Hakamo-o is a Dragon-Fighting-type that evolves from Jangmo-o, who then evolves into Kommo-o, who is also a Dragon-Fighting Pokemon. Kommo-o is able to learn a move called Clanging Scales, which lowers its defense when used.

Also introduced in the trailer was Steenee, a Grass-type who evolves from Bounsweet. Steenee then evolves into Tsareena, who is also a Grass-type. Tsareena has the exclusive new ability Queenly Majesty, which will prevent opponents from using priority moves. Then there is Ribombee, who evolves from Cutiefly. Like Cutiefly, Ribombee is a Bug-Fairy-type Pokemon.
The last two Pokemon shown in the trailer were the Alolan forms of Grimer and Muk. These Pokemon keep the Poison-typing that they had in previous titles, but now add the Dark-typing as well.
Finally, the Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer showed two new characters. Olivia is the kahuna of Akala Island, the second island that players will visit. Ilima is a graduate of the Trainer’s school, and is an expert in Normal-types.
Pokemon Sun and Moon will release on November 18th for the Nintendo 3DS. Another recent trailer showed off the evolved forms of Pokemon Sun and Moon’s starters, and announced that a demo is coming next week.
