The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta has been extended by 24 hours, Infinity Ward announced. The first beta, which began exclusively for PlayStation 4 owners over the past weekend, will now end on Tuesday, October 18 at 10 a.m. PT.
The reason behind the extension is to continue stress testing servers and systems for a “new matchmaking system” that has been introduced for Infinite Warfare. Infinity Ward has also added Kill Confirmed and Gun Game modes, as well as a new map, Precinct, for the remainder of the beta.
“With our beta, we not only want to give you a sneak peek at what you’ll see in the final game, but we also wanted to put our servers and systems to the test so we’re ready for day 1,” the developer wrote. “We’ve already collected a ton of data and gathered lots of insights to help us make your full multiplayer experience the best it can be on November 4. We’re getting great feedback from you guys and we want to keep it coming.”
